Except for the fact that's not true, sure.
Except for the fact that's not true, sure.
I am astonished at this review. This show has rapidly become one of the stupidest things on television, and this episode was so depressingly typical of that.
Two of these actors — Martin & Murphy — brought out the best in each other onceago (Jesus, "Bowfinger" was 15 years ago?), in which Murphy gave the kind of dual performance that should earn Oscars, if the Oscars had any idea what to do with comedies, and Martin let his silly, anarchic side out as a sleazy small-time…
Very nice, Rob. Kiiiiind of a new record. A sly declaration of new classic status slipped in with a bunch of old, safe ones. Veeerrry pussy.
Television news, now, Andy!
MORE PUN RUNS!
And it was incredible.
Chris would post his reply at fuckdungeons.com
I don't really care much for "Lord of the Rings", but I do believe I'd fit in pretty well in the Shire.
B? *B*? I have never disagreed with a generally positive grade so much. This was one of the best episodes this show has ever done.
Flogging Molly — "If I Ever Leave this World Alive"
The Flatlanders — "Bhagavan Decreed"
The Mountain Goats — "International Small Arms Traffic Blues"
Sigur Ros — Hoppipola
It's supposed to be "with God as my witness", or "as God is my witness", but the standards are pretty low for proper deployment of cliches around a pop culture blog.
No, "Crash" was a legitimately terrible movie.
It's an execrable film either way.
While I agree that "Life Is Beautiful" is a troubling film, it didn't win Best Picture, so it kind of falls outside the purview of this article.
I don't know who this David Sims guy is, but I am frankly astonished that someone pays him to write. "World War I, where thousands of Brits . . ." Ugh. "And while most people around the world know Rowan Atkinson as Mr. Bean, Blackadder is an equally iconic role for him." Christ, man, it only takes a modicum of brain…
It never ceases to amaze me how a guy can watch a show with such close attention for so long and still completely fail to understand anything about its appeal or fundamental human project. I guess this is me checking out of these "Community" reviews for, like, ever.
