"Gobo's Discovery" is great. The song he sings towards the end of the episode about not being sure about being an explorer is perhaps my favorite performance by Jerry Nelson.

Oh man really?! That must have been so much fun to be on the set working with everyone!

That episode is another classic. Seeing him crying on the egg at night because everyone's making fun of him for trying to hatch it is so sad.

This article really gets to the heart of the show; the characters deal with problems that are fundamentally human, whether they be disputes with friends, a lack of understanding of the people around them, a crisis of self-confidence, things like that. It helps keep things relatable.

The heaviest part of the episode is when the World's Oldest Fraggle tells a grieving Wembley that despite all his wishing and sadness to bring back his late friend, it's not going to work out.

I think that's the key to the show lasting over time, the fact that the characters are carved out in such depth that they can still be related to even by adults. Everyone's felt like Boober once in awhile.

The animated series is awful. It sands down all the characters to one characteristic, like Wembley only can't make decisions, Red only plays sports, stuff like that. Plus the animation isn't that good.

For fuck's sake! This is one of my personal pet topics, but how in the hell can a shitty YouTube franchise get their own TV show and the Muppets can't have one? What the hell is wrong with people?

I really wish they did more with that; maybe next year it will be a Hanukah special.
