I think it makes more sense when viewed in context of what happened at the wedding. Stella running off with Tony and the whole "don't invite an ex to your wedding" thing might have made Ted more aware of how, much like Stella with Tony, he still wasn't over Robin. It's definitely a stretch, but I can see how that…

I believe Wesleyan is in Connecticut. I remember Marshall and Ted road-tripping from there to Ohio, and then Marshall on to Minnesota. It was how Marshall and Ted went from being mere roommates to best friends.

I don't know that the ending would have worked as well without that Ted component. In a way, this is just as big a moment for Ted as it is for Robin and Barney. He's finally closed the door on any potential relationship with Robin and opened himself up to the idea of finding love elsewhere.

Ghost Harry is going to appear next week and tell Dexter that LaGuerta doesn't fit the Code, so I think this is a very plausible explanation. But, and I could be wrong, I always thought that Rule #1 of Harry's Code was Don't Get Caught? I remember Dexter or his voiceover always talking about how the Code was all about…

Angel papercuts his jugular vein right as he attempts to dramatically slam his papers onto LaGuerta's desk, bleeds out, dies.

Nope, Deb was, I believe. It was supposed to be Miguel Prado, but he couldn't make it because Dexter had killed him.
