I think the C- is just that, a C-. The gentleman's F can only refer to a grade that comes directly before it, the D category.

One of those movies
No matter how many times I see it, I just never get the whole thing. I always try to find reasons for Chomet's design choices, but I can never settle of a singular theme. It just keeps it more interesting that way.
Pancakes for One, you know how Modell totally wrote the original review for Max Payne so he could go back and re-watch it for a column?
Rock Band 2 still had the best Mastodon track for their format, Colony of Birchmen. Absolutely perfect to play.
Then you can have St. Anger. We'll give you every copy of that piece of vertigo-inducing crap.
Festivals just depend on how much you are willing to let it be an experience. If you go in expecting to here the greatest shows of your life, you're gonna be disappointed. But I've gone to Lolla and Bonnaroo on and off for the last five years, and every time, I find myself thinking that it's worth it.
That should be pretty awesome. Animal Collective usually does really good shows, so twice in a weekend should be worth a considerable portion of admission.
It's funny, every time I go to Texas, the first thing I do is pick up a case of Lonestar. It's like Texas's signature.
From early impressions courtesy of Gamesradar, I hear that Bionic Commando is fun, yet way too linear despite having a seemingly massive overworld.
I will totally agree with you HAPD. Project Snowblind, while short, was one of the most fun shooters of the last generation. As for Splinter Cell, Conviction was due out this past November using the same engine as Assassin's Creed, but Ubisoft remanded the game into planning again because they did not like how it…
GDC, the problem I have with ALL Guitar Hero and Rock Band games is that they are just compilation disks. With the advent of DLC, there never is a point to release another game (seeing as the interface and graphics have been almost identical in this generation), so I just don't know if it's worth buying an entire…
"What do you nerds want?"
A Great Author
Empire of the Sun was a true revelation, and I'm truly sad we'll never get another story from one of the most introspective modern writers.
More of it comes from the lack of interest. Fast and Furious is familiar, and brought back all of its original cast, so pretty much everyone who saw the first one was on for the 4th. Crank 2 had little to no hype or advertising, and combining that with good critical reviews (which seem to actually hurt box office…
He proved that he will eventually be Matthew Perry (career resignation).
Good, I've been tempted to pick it up due to my love of Metallica, but I hate paying $60 for expansion packs. I am torn…
Then you should probably just stick with Halo or Call of Duty.
The problem is that Dark Athena throws out the stealth segment almost completely, and becomes a shooter of mundane quality. It reminds me of Dark Sector, and that's far from a compliment.
Was there not another new game to review?
This seems hardly worth noting with more notable fare like Resistance: Retribution and Guitar Hero: Metallica out there. This is obscure even for a downloadable game.
I'm not positive, but I believe in the IGN review, they mentioned that the entirety of the original game's director's cut is in the update.
