Don't worry, I completely agree that the Thief series needs an update or new entry. It was the best stealth game of all-time, and seeing it in HD would be glorious.

Well, you could start them off with Cronenberg and edge into Lynch around 5 or so. But they might not be normal children.

Ours is supposed to be 5 minutes, but the time-keeper NEVER enforces the limit. A public comment goes on as long as the council members are willing to endure it, which seems to be quite long most of the time.

AP reporters tend to be douchebags in general. Every time I cover a city event, there's always one AP reporter who scoffs at the idea that I, a lowly city paper reporter, get to talk to people before him/her.

Try four. It was a bunch of older adults complaining about things the committee had already been over in the opening.

I love the chemistry between Jay Harrington and Portia de Rossi. They play the fast-paced witty banter on a level I haven't seen since Arrested Development. Oh, and Veridian Dynamics is the greatest company ever.

Had to cover a five-hour planning and zoning commission meeting once upon a time. This show captures the experience a little too well.

I see what you did there…

Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea. Linked up for you:

Gotta give the best Miyazaki award to Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. It combined every great element of Miyazaki films into one sweeping narrative of humanity.

To be honest, I still think it should have been nominated for the Best Picture, and won. The level of detail, characterization, story…everything about that film creates a world to escape into, something so many films have a hard time doing.

Plus, he was NOT about to let this Jack guy clean his chalk boards. That's Roger's turf, rookie.

Especially a talking dead body that only they can hear. Tends to be a reassuring experience.

Better than to turn into a drugged-up headcase like Jack.

This is just another example of high-profile cases with lawyers attached to them that probably graduated at the bottom of their law school classes.

Yeah, both him and Tom Waits showing up in that movie made it much better. Also, the Gogol Bordello stuff kicked ass.

It had some great quotes, like the "motherfucking crib", but it was far from hilarious. Awkward sure, but it was barely worth its own free admission.

They need something original desperately. American Dad is about the only funny things left on Sunday.

That hair should pose for Vanity Fair.

That one's actually in prison already. Release forms just take so long to fill out, you know?
