A lot of the fight scenes seemed to be dedicated to the classic giant robot tropes.  E.g., you never use the superweapons until well into the fight, or they won't be effective.

I for one, loved the fact that they committed to someone having PTSD and didn't just go "we'll limit this to a single breakdown and then move on."  She acted traumatized throughout the movie because, well, she was.  Having her succeed despite that was inspiring, not limiting for the character.

The hand to hand combat has been pretty great, particularly in season 2.  The direction and fight coordination has definitely been raised up a notch.

I'm reading the lack of a clear Liber8 identity as intentional.

I'd wager she'll either be on the show long-term or die sacrificing herself for Alec.  Hopefully the former.
