On last winter's inaugural Big Brother Canada season, the winner (Jillian?) only won because one of the jury members was so focused on insulting her during the voting process that she accidentally voted for her.

We need answers!

Does his uniform actually mean anything, or is it just a costume?  Because based on those four stripes on his sleeve, I can only assume that he's a Colonel in the air force of a Commonwealth nation.

I don't see this as the departure of a second cast-member, I see this as the second opening for a Happy Endings cast-member.

The A.V. Club?

As is common for British Comedies. (See: Spaced.)

Sociopath and Psychopath are completely interchangeable terms, and neither is a clinical one.

"Hipsters"?

So True Blood is better than Dexter because it knows that it's bad?  (I haven't watched either in ages, just checking in!)

I'm really hoping for an upcoming (e.g. Monday) O'Neal Newswire about the box-office failure of The Lone Ranger.

I was shown it in my HS biology class as well.  Bio 11 was a little pathetic in terms of its academic rigour.

This film is brilliant all-over.  Maybe a classic.  Probably a classic.

I agree @avclub-e305c4a87433ee66e142f67c450fdf6a:disqus , particularly since, in 2011 and 2012, Kobayashi held his own public July 4th hot dog eating contests as a rival to the Nathan's contest, and both times his result was better than Joey Chestnut's.

CBC is currently advertising that they have every episode of The Tudors available for on-demand streaming.  I really wish that my national broadcaster was more competent than it is.

Grill lettuce, it's great.

Fuck…  Um…  Ghost in the Shell.  Oshii's weird contempt for his audiences really works for me as a viewer.  I'm a strangely massive fan of his live-action film Assault Girls too.

RIP Happy Endings.
