Principal Belding's appearance was more jarring the Rory Gilmore's.

Did anyone recognize the song playing over the end credits?

Maybe this has been covered in the comments before, but I'm curious: anybody know why the column quit covering Slate's Culture Gabfest? The competition with "Reasonable Discussions"?

"But the titular acronym can also be read through the lens of evolutionary science as referencing mitochondrial DNA"

I also saw "A Separation" this weekend and also thought it was gripping and extremely well done.

Nathan, you guys should come to our Full Frame documentary festival in Durham, NC. This year it's April 12-15. My wife and I will be volunteering there. We'd love to meet you! Ah—good catch, Yabels! I remember seeing that, but it didn't sink in.

Well, sure, I assumed that about the first one, too, but disappearing a truck like that can't be easy. Mike's great, but he can't take care of everything.
