I have watched this episode two dozen times and never knew that. You have blown my mind into ten million pieces.

I came here to ask in an accusatory manner about the discrepancy between the headline and the first paragraph, then found you answered it at the end, and now I have all this indignation and nowhere to direct it. Any suggestions?

@avclub-871a6f53ba8bda0e260763ab2cf3b1c8:disqus Not only do we know how TV works, we know how this story is going to end up, with Hannibal in jail and Will not.

I've missed you so.

Also, she found help with a manipulative psychopath who is a magnet for serial killers.

@jerodast:disqus I loved that the killer from the first episode was shaping up to just be forgotten, and then they spend the rest of the season dealing with the aftermath.

I want to edit Goodfellas and My Blue Heaven together into one five-hour movie.

I think iTunes has sort of replaced the Greatest Hits record. I went to a friend's iTunes who talks about music quite a bit, and for 99 percent of the albums in there had one or two tracks.

I hated this song mostly because of the people I know who love it, who are all upper middle class white kids who talk about how much they love thrift stores far more than they actually go to them and use it just as a way to seem cool. But your post made me realize there actually is something legitimate about it.

One of my friends from high school was a big fan, and was much like a twenty percent less ridiculous version of Richmond, which was perfect.

and, spoilers, the post-credit tag for 6 involves his death and sets up 7.

I'm not convinced S&P cares about violence anymore, just the penises and the fucks.

Oh, the 1931 one is great - Cortez is so slimy and so devoid of any charisma. He's much closer to all of the real private investigators I've met. It's almost an accidental deconstruction of the 1941 one.

All I know is, Orb is horse.

TV Heaven, Telly Hell or something like that? I forget the exact title.

I started it but was turned off by the MTV-style editing. Is that a constant?

@avclub-e0cd3f16f9e883ca91c2a4c24f47b3d9:disqus I was responding to E.Buzz Miller specifically, but his name is un-@able:disqus.
@avclub-b8b0e9685190772ecdb089f0b4a0369f:disqus I guess I've been spoiled by mostly listening to indie rock, where supergroups tend to be less of the moneygrubbing variety.

Yeah, The Crying isn't his best book by a long shot, but it may be his most readable (except Inherent Vice, maybe) and it will get you used to his peculiar narrative rhythms.

"guys who were friends having fun and taking a break from things and having fun" - is that not usually what supergroups are?

I read that about fifteen goddamn times trying to figure out what it meant.
