I am willing to proclaim racism at the drop of a hat, but to call this one racist is spectacularly absurd.

Argument for them: It's named after a great Coil album.
Argument after them: It's astoundingly awful.

It sure is the only Kevin Smith related thing I ever liked.

Also, Whoopi Goldberg.

I misread it as the same thing.

Seriously. I tried to read one of his articles and gave up halfway through. I just was not interested enough in what he was saying to slog through that dumb gimmick. (And honestly, I didn't find the article that insightful, either.)

I wonder how many times the phrase "meticulously crafted pop" has been used in AV Club reviews to give a veneer of respectability to some of the reviewers' love of garbage.

Yup; I've read the novel it's based on, and it's literally the plot of The Three.

It sounds like they're not sticking too closely. I presume they're going to go the Dexter route; the first season will follow with some closeness to the first entry in the original, and then diverge from there.

Actually, can you give a summary of LibDem,@avclub-d72f705337e5adcf7e33ec0381c5f5b2:disqus? I don't quite get where they fit in.

I love that in The Thick of It they are so without political character (especially for the first couple series) that they steal policies from each other and put them into action without changing a thing.

I actually had the opposite reaction; I was expecting it to go real bad, so a B is basically an A to me.

Does a buzzer go off?

I'm sorry, that sounds rather flip.

Yeah, I think the sharpness of presentation covered up the 24-ness of it all.

I fucking hate that one, but I may be letting my unreasonable hatred for Patrick Stewart cloud my judgment. The witches are really cool in that one.

I usually see it written James VI & I, which is just confusing.
