I'm talking way before that. I mean, they've been going I-IV-V since the 50s.

Well, yeah, duh. But one: that's not a new phenomenon and two: isn't about beats, something people were barely interested in before 1980.

I understand this "destruction of the traditional voice" - although I imagine people said the same thing about rock and roll, but whatever - but simplified beats? What?

I imagine it's too easy.

I think I just can't get over how obnoxious the main characters are. I have no problem with assholes in my show, but Beavis and Butthead are just too obnoxious.

I hate Boondock Saints so goddamn much and I honestly love these games. All Boondock Saints has going for it is douchebag charisma; Saints Row has douchebag charisma and a really kickass game.

I love all the Saints Row games, but I wouldn't call either of the first two innovative or groundbreaking. I haven't played the third but it seems like it's a different case.

Are these always up this early? Good, I need to plan my all-day tomorrow.

I remember watching the first episode of the return and my mom watching it with me - she got to the killer trash can and laughed and left. It took until Season 5 to get her to like it again.

Seriously, how did those people who replaced Robert Osbourne when he was on vacation get that job? I've seen better readings in junior high plays.

I bet that's all handled by Disqus, right? Not just a know that can be turned.

He/she's joking.

There's no possible way the writers were thinking of that, though, since that episode wouldn't be written for decades.

I would give up hope if a: it was a comedy, since that's really hit or miss in jumping the border; b: it was a high-concept sci fi show like Life on Mars, since that seems dangerous; or c: if it were on a network TV channel, since they don't tend to understand what makes a show good. Netflix isn't a network TV

What is it about representations of the future and people in fetish suits? If it was just women I'd say "easy excuse for objectification" but when the dudes are also wearing them it's just weird.

Ugh, Cicero would be crying right now.

He's clearly an imposter.

Why don't you ask the guy slightly above you?

I'm so on the outside about this Beavis and Butthead thing. I never watched it when I was younger - maybe that's it? - and I love a lot of the writers but I honestly have watched every episode so far and haven't laughed once. I don't remember the last time I was so thoroughly on the outside of a comedy show fandom.

I love the scene of the camera shooting a tracking shot and Wayne stopping to talk to those kids.
