The politics were always besides the point in the movie.  Milius was trying to find a credible reason that six kids would have to play guerrilla up in the woods against an occupying force.  The one he came up with was probably the most realistic one.  That's it.

Well *ahem* in real zombie movies, every single person is infected, so everyone who dies becomes a zombie.  Which means you have tens of thousands of new zombies every day just based on normal mortality.  Almost certainly more due to looting, murder, and infection.

Entourage reminds me of Sex in the City, in that everyone, critics included, seemed to love it for its first couple seasons because it was clever enough escapism, then immediately hated thereafter.  I can't pretend I watched either, but it always seemed like a massive overreaction because the shows weren't gritty
