That's what people always say, but I don't buy it.  Louie, It's Always Sunny, Wilfred, Happy Endings, DTTBIA23, and other non-NBC comedies don't seem to have this problem, despite being marketed to the same sort of comedy fans.

I hate to say it, but NBC is making the smart call.  No one's watching the things.  Hulu, Netflix, FX, HBO, Showtime, Starz, etc. can pick up the slack.

The thing I liked most about the Dominion is that, while militarily powerful, they won throughout most of the series because they were simply smarter than the Federation.  It's rare you find that in sci-fi/action, which mostly has the bad guys just being leagues more powerful.
