Andrea's the only initial casting error that's still on the show.  They cast someone about 15 years too old for the part who can't play anything but dull/scared.  Unfortunately it's probably an error they can't fix.

Guy, and I'm assuming from your defensive response that you are a guy, that's what Buffy was.  It may have been "embraced by adults of all ages," but, well, so are Twilight and Harry Potter.  Doesn't change the fact of who the intended audience is.
