You're not the only one who hated it. Lots of folks on other sites are giving up on the show after this episode, too.

Untrue. Google her name and "botox" or "plastic surgery" and you'll find many, many voices who notice a marked difference.

While choosing to ignore that Mindy Kaling had the last word on all the scripts. Making that "Horrible Danny" they detest so much a Mindy Kaling creation.

You realize there's a difference between commenting on a TV show on a board ABOUT that TV show, and attacking a fellow commenter, right?

Please. No personal attacks.

Great point. When did I accuse Mindy Kaling of hating her body?

Mindy Kaling, on many occasions, has said she wants to be a role model for young women. And one of these ways — which she has said — is to present herself as the way she looks. Which, at least when her show premiered, was considered pretty revolutionary.

Huh?

You're refuting an argument I haven't made.

No, it's not hypocrisy on Schumer's part to not want to be labelled a "plus-sized woman" AND to talk about how she's "fat by Hollywood Standards." There's no contradiction there. She's not saying one thing, and doing another.

See my comment directly above yours.

She's clearly had lip injections. That's not positive or negative. Stating so is not an attack. Pointing out hypocrisy is not an attack. Leave me alone. ;-)

Of course she can. But if Mindy Kaling wants to hold herself up as an example of positive body imagery, pumping up her lips and — by some accounts — bleaching her skin, seems hypocritical. To say the least.

Mindy Kaling has clearly has plastic surgery and lip injections in the hiatus since the mid-season finale. That tends to negate any "body positivity" campaign she's selling. Disappointing.

Me, too. Seriously. If they don't have enough respect for the audience to address such glaring inconsistencies, I'll spend my Hulu subscription on something else.
