I agree that Sheila is probably one of their favorites as well. It seems like the writers are really straining themselves to find something for her and Lip every single episode and it really shows. Wouldn't hurt to put them in the background every once in a while and let the less forced characters and storylines play

I really need a break from Lip, it's obvious he's the writers' favorite, but his character went from funny and intriguing last season to obnoxious and way overexposed this one. Finally we get an episode where his storyline is front and center and they still manage to throw him in every other scene.

Totally agreed, that Ian never once even wondered where Monica got all the money to buy this stuff doesn't make sense. Neither does him not knowing basic requirements for enlisting.
