Googling "what year was the academy of motion picture arts and sciences founded"…so yeah, 1927.

LeBron totally did a "Won't someone rid me of this meddlesome head coach" him. It's not consultation if the assassins don't ask him "Ya sure you want us to get rid of him, boss? How d'ya want it done?"

Not if Charlotte Rampling has anything to say about it!

It's definitely "So that's who you want me to imagine you are while I'm nailing you in front of these extremely phallic bombs? Sure, why not?"

I can hear the "thanks to the other nominees, who were all awesome" part of Larson's speech now: "…and Charlotte, whose big, stupid mouth completely overshadowed one of the bravest, most brilliant performances in years…"

Did we see the envelope before this episode? It wasn't established that she had the offer for more than a few days.

If you're referring to Harry, I don't think Barry told him the secret. Due to the swiss cheese STAR Labs calls a security system (and Harry's inexplicable ninja-like sneaking around abilities) Harry and Zoom have had the run of the place, and know who Barry is without having to be told.

I don't think that crutch is particularly old-fashioned—I've seen diabetics use a version of it in the present day. It's basically a cane with more support, so it's used on the good side to help balance and distribute weight from a damaged leg that can still hold weight (as opposed to the bigger crutch that ends at

Didn't Patty know about the Turtle? The joke of the episode was that Cisco told everyone but Barry about the Turtle. CCPD had his picture before Barry could tell Joe.

Yeah, but telling her his identity doesn't make her publicly the Flash's girlfriend. The only risk in her knowing is if she can't be trusted to keep his secret. The secret protects him, not her.

Well, I think that Rachel being Harvey's girlfriend probably made her a target more than her maybe mattering to Batman, although if Joker didn't sense the connection from him jumping after her, he probably read it from Batman's reactions during the interrogation scene.

Yeah. "The bad guys will harm your friends and loved ones," isn't an argument against telling your friends and loved ones your secret, it's an argument against superheroes having friends and loved ones. Harry's advice shouldn't have been "Don't tell her," it should've been "Break up with her and pray that Zoom didn't

I kinda see it. There were good things in this episode. The Turtle was cool. Harry lobotomizing the Turtle was cool. The tuxes and Cisco were cool. Even the Jay-Caitlin romance was less forced than usual.

I actually loved that they kind of hung a lantern on it with Turtle's plan to put her frozen in a display case. They should've made it clear, however, that the display case was refrigerated, so that he was literally going to fridge her.

He shouldn't have needed to tell her his name. He didn't bother changing his voice or anything when he spoke to her. Sure she was in shock, but I'd think you'd notice if a superhero spoke with your lover's voice.

…and of course, Riley's character's name will turn out to be Roscoe Dillon, because Patty don't date anybody unless they got superpowers.

Eh, it's not that bad. I follow it mainly to keep up on what the latest outrages and lefty millenial terminology are, and they're a pretty good resource in that way because there's seemingly no cause they won't insist on taking umbrage for. You have to have a strong stomach for the nuttier arguments and the hectoring

"So you want transfer credits for work done abroad. Let's take a look. OK…this 'League of Assassins.' Is that an internship, or a work-study job?"

Upvoted for "Fifth Element with the serial numbers filed off."

I really doubt it. It seems like too much of a coincidence that both Supes v Bats and Suicide Squad came out with more lighthearted trailers in quick succession after they were widely lambasted for their first super-serious trailers. The big question is if this is a marketing shift or have they been doing reshoots to
