I cannot bring myself to sit through this drivel but I'm gonna assume she never actually delivered on that promised lie detector test?

I have much love for JJ but yeah that statement was just bizarre. Legit s1 was messy and often painfully unfunny, especially in it's over insistence on utilizing physically/mentally handicapped people. Not that they can't be funny, but sometimes it felt like little more than "these freaks exist, lol".

He is a great character played by a reliable actor, but both are wasted with his main plot thread. That entire avenue of the story is a misfire throughout s1 and 2 IMO.

Laurel proclaiming "I'm hungry" was the most convincing line she's yet uttered. And when Thea said "Laurel's here; she doesn't look good" I started to think the writers are doing it on purpose.

I know next to nothing about any of these characters outside of this show and even I got a bit of a geek chubby on.

I'm not sure how much more explaining you need to get the gist of my argument. It's pretty much all there. And I didn't insult anyone, unless you think my hyperbole was meant to be taken literally.

Always a good option when you can't provide a sensible counter argument!

Much as I like Troughton, it's crazy to even contemplate labelling him the best actor to play Who when we've had Eccleston in the role. One of the best actors alive, he beats the rest hands down.

Yeah that doesn't really hold up when it's been getting solid B range from the start. But I'll stop comparing because you told me to, that is how internet discussions work after all.

This was a solid B+ until "On the contrary, I think you finally got the job" and Carter's whole scene of unrivalled badassery kicked it up to a well deserved A. I know it's different reviewers, but this episode having the same grade that Agents of Shield keeps inexplicably receiving is an insult to POI and Jesus

And what the hell's going on with her accent? It's getting progressively worse rather than improving with time.

It didn't cure cancer, no, but it could put it in remission.

Yep…it's good, but no more than that.

Excuses to give it a B grade rather than C (i.e the difference between a recommendation to watch or…not) because yknow, Metacritic scores are big business these days. Better to not make waves and keep them screeners flowing. And the only thing I have to back it up is the reviews (which more or less DO say it sucks,

The "misjustice" is that people like you get to pass comment at all on something they blatantly don't know the first thing about.  I'm in Scotland and I understand this case better than you ffs, I shouldn't even have heard about this nonsense.

Looks like Julianne Margulies to me.  Expect her to head the cast of "La Bueno Esposa" once this thing has wrapped up.

I know it's two months later and nobody cares anymore but I just had to note how MALICIOUSLY disingenuous the first paragraph is about that "a mouth is a mouth scene".  There's no way someone could be a TV reviewer for this site and be stupid enough to take that at face value the way this author seemingly did.  I

It has become the gold standard for TV drama endings, the high bar that others try (and fail, BB included sadly) to reach.  You'd think the way that was phrased that it got a much more mixed reception.

Just been listening to the BB podcast where Vince Gilligan says it was really made and really worked.

Well the writers never actually even so much as hinted at that being where things were going, the plot about Harry boffing Dex's mom was more about shaking Dexter's confidence in his "father", making him question whether their entire relationship was based out of guilt rather than Harry trying to be a good person
