"Sweet, sweet bourbon. Brownest of the brown liquors. What's that? You want me to drink you? But I'm in the middle of court… excuse me!"

Most of these are just fantastic, but my absolutely favourite comes via Ralph Wiggum:

Slow Donnie!

"never follow a hippie to a second location"

re: HIMYM. Still too soon.

All I know is that I laughed harder at the Phil/Cam scenes than I have in this show in quite some time, including the excellent "Las Vegas" episode. I'll give it a solid grade just for that alone.

SLURM! I love that episode, and tried to use it many times to get friends of mine into Futurama.

Getting caught up on some older Louis CK specials I had never seen. Definitely interesting to see his progression as a standup, and see the writing on the wall regarding things like his impending divorce, etc.

*Spoilers for Xmen: DOFP*

One does not preclude the other.

Are we talking "one shot" in the context of "Big two" corporate comics from our youth? If not, then Scott Morse's "Visitations" is right up there in terms of a brilliantly executed done-in-one story that hammers home its emotional message.

I don't know what any of this is. You kids and your… music.

Ohhh… that made me sad. I usually avoid remembering that the show is still being made and aired.

The only thing this article lacked, which it made mention of in the penultimate paragraph, is the strong impetus for having female leads in these types of movies. As father of two daughters and someone who enjoys seeing and reading about many of these female superheroes, I think it's important to see that drive, but

Agreed. My five year old has a massive crush on Sumo, which she denies, but then confirms by her actions, as she runs at me protesting in anger when I suggest this to be the case (she does not do this with the other characters).

Honestly, that might be what was I looking through a couple of months ago. Whatever it was, I found it actually repulsing me.

Nope, nothing I saw there seemed to indicate that.

Really enjoying this show so far, mostly because things are happening each episode. I had given up on Agents of SHIELD last season by episode four, because every single moment dragged, and my oldest daughter was bored beyond belief. I couldn't handle how much "dead air" there seemed to be.

I've read previews and flipped through copies in the store and I still can't tell if this art is ghastly or if it's just not to my liking. It's probably the latter, but I can't read it for more than a few minutes at a time.

I thought it was the latter, but had never considered the former, so maybe!
