While I found the first episode promising and cute, and perhaps chuckled at it two or three times, I found a few bits on this one genuinely laugh-out-loud funny. The writers and cast seemed to have figured it out already, and blended the Wallflower setting into the plot much quicker than I would have expected.

In the worst possible way of judging a book by its cover, the photo above that showcases the characters in one of those impossibly huge, sitcom apartments just turned me off completely. I don't even know why, as it's likely one of the least important things that could apply in judging a show, but for right now, I've

On the nose casting (in case someone hasn't mentioned it yet): Hugh Laurie.

He probably went from $9 an hour to $12 to $15. :)

I'm here for the zingers, honestly. And the fact that my wife loves the show. I would be ok if it ended in this third season, as the plot is really old-hat and we've hit the end of the "will they won't they?" that was never that interesting to begin with (although I did like seeing how they turned it around from a

I loved the Italian joke. My wife is Italian, so every little dig from this show and (the-now-finished-but-still-much-loved) 30 Rock is sweeter than a plate of gnocchi slathered in rose sauce.

Wow, I just realized in this last review that Joan is a predecessor for both Britta AND Annie on Community. And by that, I mean, you get the combo of her self-righteous causes and unstoppable infatuation with the male lead.

WE WANT TODD! WE WANT TODD!

I saw Limp Bizkit get booed at a Summer Sanitarium crowd, opening for Metallica. They turned it around and everyone was behind them by their third song.

I find it funny that we're only 5-10 years away from a nu-metal nostalgia resurgence, similar to how grunge is finding its way back as a respectable genre in the eyes of many.

Some schools have 80% as an A-

With guest writing bits for the next season of COMMUNITY? Right???

For the first time, I'll be watching the episodes of a show (Clone High) in line with the reviews as they come out. I loved that show and am excited to see it with fresh eyes!

That 80's Show's Lizzy Caplan

The Class's Lizzy Caplan

I live in a city that is crap for getting anything good, and I'm really struggling to think of much that was very good from last year, but that's because I'm constantly behind and often think stuff that's from three years ago is from last year, and vice versa. So yeah, I'm totally looking at big budget movies.

What. The. F%#&*.

That wasn't part of the deal, BLACKHEART!

This year of movies has been nearly the opposite of the wasteland that was last year, especially in terms of larger Hollywood releases.

Ok, never thought of that!
