Nice to know where I stand.
Nice to know where I stand.
Yeah it's true. There are some really weak season one episodes that got burned off during season two, which really screwed up the show's flow.
Fair enough. I gave up on that show long ago and what I heard of that finale makes me glad.
They have. It's found here: http://www.dreamawalker.com…
That's the question of the year it seems.
I'm not sure I needed a reminder, but we seem to be in the darkest timeline for sure…
I'm hoping HIMYD crashes and burns after the nine-year burn-out that the creators pulled with HIMYM. I thought I would get over it after that terrible finale, but every time I think about it I just get madder. Spiteful? Yeah… but that was pretty much the worst series finale of all time for so many reasons.
iTunes has them all. My recommendation is to check them out via the intended viewing order, rather than when they were aired/released.
CBS is basically pissing away their latest opportunity to dominate as well. I'm guessing this is the last "generation" where the networks dominate the ratings.
For sure, which is why I still enjoyed seasons 1-3, but I found that a lot of the jokes depended on that "first viewing" surprise, especially in season 4, where the plotlines were so interconnected that the "ah-ha!" moments made things even funnier. Seasons 1-3 had a lot of those also, but I was already aware what…
Fair enough, I'm just pointing out that this has been an issue for the past couple months, so I'm a bit surprised people choose now to bitch about it, especially since the "reveal" this week wasn't as egregious as some of the other stuff I've noticed (on a variety of shows, not just Hannibal) here on the AV Club in…
That's just a myth!
TV Classic Club for any of his prior shows works for me as well! TV Classic WalkThrough!
I watch every episode of Hannibal through iTunes, so AT BEST I'm watching it the morning after, and I've known since last season not to go to the AV Club website and read either the review or walk-through.
I watched the first 3 seasons via DVD/Netflix in marathon sessions, and I thought season 4 worked best that way. Also, by the time I saw the first 3 seasons, most of what happened in it was spoiled in advance by people randomly mentioning plot points, etc, so there was no thrill of discovery whatsoever for me.
No, I get what you're saying. I was just basically saying that as much as "Drew P Weiner" has post-1988 Metallica as a cultural dealbreaker, mine is almost the opposite, as I can't stand when people tell me how much they hate everything after And Justice for All. It happened a lot in high school, and thankfully…
The closeups on Van Der Beek's face just during one particular scene make that movie worthwhile.
It was my favourite season once I got past the first few episodes.
They confirmed that it's getting a third season. We'll see what happens with Hannibal next year, although that one may have life beyond NBC due to the way it's produced.
Pleaseohpleaseohpleaseohpleaseohplease is what is constantly playing in my head whenever I think about the darkest timeline.
