Hating on the second one is an automatic "Fail" in my book. Funny how people can hold different opinions on things, isn't it?

The flip side is just as bad, which is "I only listen to the lyrics." I swear, some people are completely oblivious to the music behind the words, and it makes pop music that much more horrid because of it.
Also, in terms of Ayn Rand, I have a friend who is basically the perfect target audience for her views, and I dread the day when he finally stumbles across her books, devours them, and starts spouting Objectivist trash in every direction, because I know it's an inevitability…
I think… I identify with way too many of those dislikes.
Also:
- the guy on trial turns out to be the first guy they interview
- they interview Todd in a library
- the two dudes who come across the crime are having that traditional "blue collar" talk in the cold open
- last second twist that leads to the DA (Jeff) discovering the real truth
I hear you. I was skeptical the first time this came up, but as details continue to emerge…
Yeah, that's the one
"Oh Marge, she considers wit to be a perfectly executed humourous observation delivered with impeccable timing." (paraphrased from memory)
I rewatched this episode with my daughters not too long ago, and it strikes me as being something that I remembered really disliking but found a lot more charming and humourous years later. It's not as good as some other episodes of its era, but it's streets ahead of anything past season 12…
No. We're all still trapped in the Matrix. It's 1999 and Neo has yet to murder us all, I mean, set us free, or no… wait, what DID he end up doing in the end?
The best part of Red Dragon is that it makes Fiennes seem so creepy in Maid in Manhattan if you're forced to watch the latter immediately after the former. I kept expecting him to go crazy and start eating wallpaper off of hotel room walls.
WTF with the snide comment about Up All Night?
You'd end up with a lot more assault cases, as, right or wrong, if someone were to attempt to spank my kids, I'd be slugging them hard.
The problem with that interpretation of Waller is that it not only recasts her as a skinny person, but also strips away the complex layers of the character that are utilized in both the comics and the animated series. My five year old took maybe ten minutes to consider whether or not "Mrs. Waller" was a good guy or a…
I still don't get the condom joke in Mission Hill though. "You cheap gay bastard, these things are gonna fly right off!"
Davies was fantastic as the shaky Pvt. Toffler in Ravenous. Once I saw him here I knew we were in for a treat tonight.
By definition you cannot have fan fiction written by the original author. Fan-fiction's definition is that is written by people who are NOT the original author.
Literally LMAO right now. Fantastic.
I think what some people don't get about the "internet whiners" (or whatever derogatory term they want to use) is that they're dismissing people who watched the show passionately, fell in love with the story and the characters, and got genuine enjoyment from watching and rewatching the classic episodes.
I'm certainly on board with that. I have no plans to see that series whatsoever after having nine years thrown out the window like that.
