The funniest part about Miley's "edgy," "adult" persona she's trying to cultivate (and pretty much failing miserably at) is that she's actually older than say, someone like Kate Upton, who actually just acts like an adult and gets recognized as one.

Minuses aren't real!
My kids will dance around the house singing "You don't win friends with salad!" with little to no provocation.
Dangit, someone beat me to my comment. Should have loaded more on the page!
My wife loves this show, so of course when it gets really soap opera-ish I have to mock it as she watches. By about season four or so I started throwing out really stupid and/or outlandish predictions, and they actually started coming true. That's when the show had truly jumped the shark. Any series that could…
"Ah, morality. The last bastion of a coward."
Why did you have to remind me that this movie exists????
Another excellent example is the movie Ravenous, which has an ample amount of horror tempered by some humour (the soundtrack in particular is hilarious). Guy Pearce and Robert Carlyle deliver as well.
The only thing I could stomach from Happy Endings' last season was his character's pairing with Max. Of course, everyone looks better when compared with Dave…
Twin Cinema is a masterpiece, but I really dig Together as well.
Is this a post from 2005? That's not remotely true of most comic movies any more…
I've found that, for the most part, avoiding buying them monthly really helps, because you don't have that exasperation/annoyance lingering from issue to issue over the length of time it takes for the next issue to come out. Following characters seems to be a fool's game as well, as a poor writer and/or artist can…
The feeling that I, my wife, and a few of my friends have about HIMYM is that it could have been spectacular if they had kept it to a 13 episode order. Cut away the fat, the lame jokes and oddball crap that mired this season in mediocre, and keep the incredibly heartfelt and funny episodes, most of which featured The…
You must be referring to the latter seasons, because the first four were brilliant in tone, blending comedy with drama, leaning quite heavily on the latter, and also emphasizing great character development for a 22 minute network sitcom.
Raising Hope is what it is. It's aged quicker than some other series, imo, but it's still around, doing what it does. There are worse things, I suppose, such as I Hate My Teenage Daughter or something.
HA! That is definitely a perfect line, and even funnier in that context.
Agreed. This was fairly weak episode. I enjoyed most of this (short) season, but it's been fairly uneven throughout. I find that most of my tastes compared to other commenters on here (and critics) are different, as I didn't care for the Award episode or the Gang Saves the Day, vastly preferring Mac Day, The Gang…
Which part of the episode was that?
Ah, memories. I once had a deck that consisted of millstones, ornithopters (I had 30 or 40 of those for some reason) and counterspells of many kinds. It was a "grinder" deck (or whatever your regional equivalent is) that existed only to stretch out a game for hours in survival mode while wearing the other person's…
