You just made my point for me - thanks!  "she didn't want the family to find out" - pride and saving face - check.
She didn't want the house taken  - concern about money - check.
Hmm was it explicit that she thought cancer would kill Walt before his secret got out? Or was that just what she hoped would happened so it

When Skyler said "I fucked Ted". Walt had recently revealed that he made Meth, moved out, and then moved back in against her wishes, and essentially called her bluff on calling the authorities. It was very much a power play, to let her know

Hmm, maybe there was some hypocritical disgust at Walter in the past - but right now she is simply and completely terrified of him. She knows that she's made terrible decisions in the past, and has no good options. She has options… but she's not ready to accept consequences.

yeah, he was clearly traumatized, as he cheerfully whistled a tune (has someone identified it yet? c'mon intrepid AV Clubbers) while he worked  to finish up the batch.

Yeah, agreed. They had to involve a lot of people to achieve this - train robbery is not a two man gig.  And everyone has history with them.

I felt like it completely fits in with how they all seem to think that nothing can stop them as long as they have a detailed, and smart plan. They never think that shit is just going to go wrong, yo!! In someways, old dumb Jesse was smarter. He would have never thought that he could get away with robbing a train. Too

Also, Kuby has balls standing between the train and the car! I would be like off to the side… just in case the train didn't stop in time. Although Walt, probably patronizingly explained at what point  the engineers would see the truck and the blah blah blah math  deceleration and made poor Kuby stand there.  Jerk.

Well, clearly someone was going to end up dead because of the heist, because well foreshadowingy foreshadowness. Talk about Chekov's gun. But awww, that kid.  Jesse is going to go apeshit. He doesn't like when anyone dies, let alone kids.

You aren't crazy - just relistened - it's a gun being cocked.

If you don't have a cable subscription (yay!) then Monday morning is the earliest you can (legally) access the show.  If you are a night owl and super dedicated - iTunes seems to release episodes at about midnight Monday morning. Or close to it.

OMG. That's her??
You have caused my brain to melt. I looove Deadwood and I can't believe I never noticed this.
And was I the only one who thought she was pregnant in real life (when she was finally not pregnant on the show?) And finally, the bad hair cut.
I know this really contributes nothing to the conversation,
