I'm confused…
..where is the needless 'drama' of the entrepreneurs competing and plotting against each other? surely they all have to live inthe same house, or something.
I thought all of these shows involved stabbing each other int he back for $100,000?

We don;t have these in LA.
We just don't.

This seems less effective…
…than the teaser. This just looks like one, long, emo slog with really great creture work (and a terrrible soundtrack).

It'll be canceled by Christmas…
…in favor of Law & Order reruns (is that on NBC? Maybe I mean the 5th iteration of CSI- CSI: Racine…).

Reality programming is cheap because no one really get paid for the work- primarily the purported subjects.
I'd be surprised if they got 5k per episode as a family. 50k is really unlikely.

I can think of no more selfish people in the world than the couple that goes in for fertility treatments.

Barnum has already been done and PT's life story has already been a 'Made for Hallmark'-style TV movie.
Combining the two would hardly be novel.

And the Eurythmics on the soundtrack (of the trailer). Right after I see Bruno, I go into cyrogenic freeze until Sept!

'Experimentalism', is it? I thought it was just musical spackle.
Tomato, Tomahto.

Kamen wrote a very good Bond score for 'License to Kill', and a lot of good scores for bad movies like the 80s 'Robin Hood'.

Uh, 'Psycho' (it is much more than the shower scene). And if you likes that, you'll like 'Sisters'.

Yes, SHire did do 2010. As an 80s score it's typically synthesizer driven, but I didn;t even realise it until my 40th listen. Underrated, even is he had to rely on 'Thus Spake…'.

Dale Dickey…
…as the Skank, also plays Patty the Daytime Hooker on 'My Name is Earl.

I've watched…
…Sandra Lee's show several times. Most of the recipes are OK, but that cake is an abomination.
The real draw here is her Junior League boobs, and the fact that she mixes cocktails in each episode.

Angel Food Cake…
…is one of the few things that you cannot necessarily improve by making it yourself. Store-bought or home-made, it really tastes the same.
Marshmallows are the same.

Sutherland & Smith
I really liked the scenes between Keifer Sutherland & Kurtwood Smith. Some really good acting to put a spin on the black-and-white morality of the show, AND redeeming the character of the Senator who was set up as just a foil for Jack before this.
Then Smith was mowed down- par for the course on

What this really means…
…is an end to quality scripted shows like 'BSG' and a new cheaper line-up consisting of:
-10 new Ghost Hunter shows ('Ghost Hunter:Alabama'!)
-wrestling 3+ nights week
-and 'Stargate: Universe' aka 'SG-Voyager'.

I'm going to guess…
…that NBC passed on things like Mad Men and Breaking Bad (and are considering cancelling 30 rock) so they would have enough money to greenlight crap like this.

Full Metal Alchemist
One of the longest series I've watched (2 series of 26 eps) and worth nearly every minute. Something solid for kids that adults get a lot out of as well without pandering to either age group. The movie is shite.

In May Madea goes to Starfleet
Perry has a cameo in the ST movie as the head of Starfleet Academy. Yech. I hope he left the 2nd rate drag and his misogyny at home. Even a parallel future can do without both.
