I love Ted Leo's last two albums and am glad to know he'll still be recording, but I'm a little surprised by how many people know or care who's on what label. Does it actually matter? If so, how?

I saw his standup around Thanksgiving last year and while it was enjoyable overall, I wouldn't say he killed. As mentioned above, the celebrity stuff really dragged everything down. I dunno about Tompkins… his association with the painfully unfunny "Best Week Ever" has kind of poisoned my opinion of him. Anything out there that can serve as redemption?

Where's Adam Sandler with his "… something that could have been brought To My ATTENTION YESTERDAY!!!"?

I have both Director's Label box sets and I keep coming back to Gondry as my favorite. His stuff is just so inventive. Cunningham is a close second, Jonze in third. I'll have to give Romanek a closer look, though.
