The original version is far superior. To this day there are parts that I find unnerving.

My opinion of him waffled greatly throughout the interview. I'll admit my impression of Hagar before reading the interview was "asshole." Some of his answers were fun and batshit crazy, others were arrogant.
With ya on the Devo love. I was very happy that Something for Everybody exceeded my expectations.
Murphy's appeal
I not only find LCD Soundsystem's music appealing, but I also find what Murphy is about and what he stands for as part of the package.
Pitchfork article
I know there's plenty of Pitchfork hate around these parts and I understand SOME of the reasons to hate them (it?). To their credit, they've been on board with the LCD Soundsystem love since the start and have championed them ever since.
Since I never want to question Raylan's complete and total awesomeness, I'll chalk it up to him being drunk.
Flip Wilson
I was hoping for a
Pedophile version of Brokeback Mountain.
Ramones documentary
I couldn't make it through the whole thing. I knew there was some truth to the fact that they really were degenerate dorks from Queens; but I didn't expect it to be the WHOLE truth. I still love them to death and I always will, but the documentary kinda depressed me.
Thirdedededed on Too Tough to Die. Great songs, great production, a terrific return to form. Since I was too young to see them live in the '70s, I was absolutely stoked to see them on the TTTD tour at the fabulous Metro in Chicago. Great show and I even picked up a girl that night.
Hitting coach
This will commemorate my first ever negative post for Justified. Raylan was displaying one weak-ass swing in that batting cage. He was doing more than just dropping his shoulder, he wasn't even stepping into it.
Prequel? Really?
So when does the inevitable "reboot" get released? You know, where it's more EDGY.
Like James Bond.
If
there's a masturbation scene, I'm in.
Too funny Johnny, I just finished it and then decided to check out the AV Club review.
So you want Vedder to re-do Trans?
Getting through this movie sounds like a chore.
Prof, I'll agree that Affleck stole the show in Jesse James; but Pitt was terrific as a paranoid and unhinged Jesse. I thought it was a very strong performance.
IMHO, Thin Red Line was ponderous, pretentious and over long. A couple of terrific scenes and moments, but overall I was more bored than anything. I still really, really love the sequence of John Cusack leading the assault on the Japanese stronghold.
I'd love to hear that, Mesotheleona.
