Ah memories
All I can remember about this show is how stinking cool I thought it was to park a car in a living room.

You can't find that level of creativity in Hollywood any more.

Wondering
If Eliza Dushku needs "comforting."

Ummmmmmmmmmmm no.

Quote of the day
"the costume design of The 5th Element multiplied by insanity"

Terrific, underrated movie. Goodman steals the show. This has been on Showtime (I think) lately. There's a terrific scene where Goodman is pitching the movie to the audience and says something about "documented evidence" while waving a handful of papers rapidly past the camera.

I've always wanted to
Throat-punch Chris Carrabba. He's insufferable. That is all.

Sightly amusing story
Many years ago I was watching t.v. with my dad and The 5,000 Fingers of Dr. T was on something like TMC. I only read about the film prior to that. I got excited about finally being able to see it, my dad told me a story about when he was in Korea in the army. Apparently my dad was one of the base

Yawns again
rolls over and goes back too sleep…

Wyatt Earp is a big ol' pile of poop, IMHO. It's the anti-Tombstone.

Decor
"The film makes an off-ramp motel and a library outfitted in high-'70s decor as frightening as any spookhouse."

Kudos Zack
I started reading these recaps because I haven't seen The Prisoner since I was a little kid. At that age I didn't know what the hell was going on, but I loved the weirdness and kicky 60's vibe to it all. When I discovered IFC plays the show on Friday nights, my DVR has been recording it.

No thank you
I'll echo other postings, this looks too bleak for me.

Didn't hear about that Huntington event, Tomwaits.

Tombstone
Val Kilmer steals the show, plus it's so stinking long you get to blow off an entire afternoon.

I absolutely adore the Ramones, but EOTC depresses me. Because it's how I discovered their dopey personas weren't an act.

Agree with the gorgeous cinematography, which is why I have a hard time watching it on cable. It requires a DVD or Blu-Ray viewing to fully appreciate the visuals…and I'm too cheap to spring for HD cable.

Buckaroo was on IFC or Sundance several months ago. Excitedly, I recorded it on the DVR…and then accidentally deleted it in a rush to clear out space.

I can't tell if you're agreeing or disagreeing with me. The 90-95% number comes from the percentile of explainable cases that the few serious studies on the topic have reviewed.

The UFO phenomena
I've been a UFO geek since I was a kid. For some masochistic reason I'd scare the crap out of myself when I was young, reading all these creepy abduction stories.
