Missed my chance
Many, many years ago I had a clear shot of hitting him with a beer bottle at the Metro. I didn't. Not a day goes by that I don't think about it…sigh. Goes to show that even when he was just starting out he was already an intolerable asshole.

LOL Moment
Seeing the word "genius" in such close proximity to a photo of Steven Baldwin.

Light rape, only 65 calories!

In keeping with this holy week of Beatles worship…

Just for the record, Martin had no choice but to work in 4 track. It's not like he owned the studio, he was a record producer employed by EMI.

Any psychedelic tune written by Lennon are my faves. Especially Strawberry Fields, which I'm still convinced is one of the most terrifyingly brilliant pop songs ever recorded. It gives me goose bumps.

Big Momma vs. Medea would be like pairing matter and anti-matter, they would completely destroy each other in a massive explosion.

Great point about the sound design, Prole Hole. Come to think of it, that seems to be the case with most British sci-fi television shows. The visual effects for old Dr. Who episodes are pretty awful, but the sound effects were always very effective and well-done.

The "I love Kung Fu." line is probably the best reading she's ever done in her career.

Sorry, but his music has never been more vibrant or energetic as of late.

Funny how relatively quickly the F-14 got phased out. Overcomplicated swing wing technology, once considered cutting edge and now on a scrap heap near you. Our tax dollars hard at work, thank you military industrial complex.

OMG, Youngblood! "Hey pretty boy, what does it take to make you wanna fight?"

Really?
Apparently Zombie is making money for someone with his hackneyed remakes; but I for one don't understand having an entire film career based on remaking (sorry "rebooting") old horror films. WTF?

IMHO it's tough to judge which show is superior. Buffy has it's strengths and weaknesses just as Angel does. I haven't seen a Buffy episode in a very long time; but I've been keeping up with Angel reruns on TNT (I think). Angel does seem to go a bit darker and appear to be a bit more adult than Buffy did.

That would be a good exercise. As you mentioned, there are definitely examples where a cliche can still seem fresh. All depends on the usage of said cliche.

She's on my hate fuck list for sure.

The thought of Wilford Brimley beating of the real housewives with a baseball bat just made my morning. Personally, I think the Orange County housewives should be the first to go.

Get off my lawn!

I recall seeing Cry Baby in an almost deserted theatre. Just me, my date and young, giggly girls who just wanted to see Johnny Depp. They lasted about 10 minutes.

My wife insisted on watching FW a while back and it made my stomach hurt. It's after school special or made for t.v. type material, just awful. And yes, chock full o' cliches!
