Same here. As a Christian, it'd be nice to have some level-headed celebrities, instead of Kirk Cameron.

The biggest thing I think might work against Pratt is he's openly religious in way that seems like he might be a creepy conservative. Like, when it was Easter, him and his friends built a cross and set it up for no other reason than it was Easter (not for, like, a church project or something). So there's that chance

He got paid three times over this year by Disney for this, "Zootopia" and "Moana." I'm sure he's longing for the days of canceled shows and wondering when Joss will cast him in his next project.

They did not. He's right there in the digital flesh, looking slightly better than Tom Hanks in "The Polar Express," but not enough where you don't notice it's a CGI creation sandwiched in with a bunch of real people. The hologram thing would have worked much better.

"A Good Day to Die Hard" still holds that distinction for me.

Who would have thought an entire sequence shot in night vision with a red tint would be a bad decision?

And the music playing when she walks in is a creepy, slowed down version of BBD's "Poison."

That whole shimmying thing gave me some terrible second-hand embarrassment. It was like Dave Chappelle in that Mitsubishi ad parody, stopping the car and asking the dancing lady "What the fuck are you doing?"

Not for nothing, but she was good in "Paper Towns." But yeah, she was awful in this.

Gotta save room for more Leto mugging!

Fantastic.

I assure you, he's not mute. He has actual dialogue, which makes it even worse and more uncanny valley.

Heh heh. Fart things.

Yeah, get on it, Chicago!

I think it's a giant mess with some great highs, mainly "Signs."

Perfect subject-avatar synergy.

It's really weird how videos catch fire on the Internet. This was released with the "Seinfeld" DVD series, released in 2007 and likely made in 2006, uploaded in 2014 and here we are!

I really wanted the "Man Loses Ten Years of Life in Kansas Rectangle." Because goddammit I hate Kansas.

Ah, yes. The old, let me cherry-pick a lyric to minimize an artist's intent. Does Leonard Cohen writing about getting head on unmade bed make his craft less great? "Metal Machine Music" and "Lulu" doesn't make Lou Reed any less great. A jokey Kanye lyric off of one of his less-great albums doesn't mean he doesn't care

While there's no doubt he's out for a profit and an egomaniac, there's nothing to suggest that he's not interested in making great (even if you don't like it). He's known to be meticulous with every detail of his craft, whereas someone like Trump is solely about power and glosses over all the details.
