He was kind of villainous in The Coens' "The Ladykillers." But all I remember is Marlon Wayans stinking the whole thing up that I feel no need to re-visit it.

His dumb, stupid views don't take away from "Letters From Iwo Jima."
This isn't really a spoiler, since it's pretty obvious what happens, but to anyone that sees the movie and then reads the comments: Did you think this ended really super weird - with a softball dad joke and then the quickest fade to black I've ever seen a movie end?
I think the best comparison with this is "Captain Phillips" where Hanks is just being Hanks behind a moustache, but damn, does he sell it. That last 5-10 minutes were excellent.
Nah, he was a guy that did bad things, but Jude Law was the (super cartoonish) bad guy who did that coin over the knuckles thing.
Follow-up question: Is there anything fluffier than a cloud?
"American Sniper" is one of those movies I hate because of its fans. I think it does a decent job of portraying the aftermath of a veteran coming back from war and the addiction to war that few mainstream films delve into. But it's the "Fuck yeah! Kill them terrorists that Chris Kyle never actually killed!" shit that…
I try not to complain too much about the AV Club, considering the things I love about (film and music reviews, the comments, some of the features) outweigh the bad (A lot of Hatesongs, the click-baity headlines like this one once had, Amazon ads clearly done to get referral money).
ok
Crazy to see that you basically asked for The Other SIte, got it and now it's gone.

Man, you didn't even see GREAT JOB, INTERNET! coming. You were correct on a lot of fronts. While they still have some great Film stuff, they have become more HuffPo click whoring.

And no explanation why they changed the header!
They most certainly did, possibly after being raked over the coals on both the comments section and Facebook. Also, Perez Hilton picked it up, so I assume that tipped the scales.
Oh please. She had the delivery and comedic timing of a text-to-voice machine,
I blame a lot of that on SM and Alec Sulkin, but mainly Sulkin because everything he's behind has a thick coat of racism on it and I think SM stopped caring about "Family Guy" years ago.
Man, I really like Chris Gethard, but I had to quit listening to "Beautiful Anonymous" when it kind of felt like some of the people that were putting themselves out on the podcast were better suited to be telling this to a therapist. Probably a nit-pick of mine, but oh well. I'll get back on-board since he's such a…
That really has me worrying about what the AV Club is turning into. Do we have the absorption of Gawker to blame?
1 - Pretty simple. She didn't seem to want to re-hash it.
2 - They only have so much time to talk.
