You're right, that is an unpopular opinion.

The final act in "Ultimatum" is pretty crucial to the entire series. Not only do you have Albert Finney chewing up scenery like it's his last time on-camera, but it twists Bourne's origins to show this was something he voluntarily did, thinking he was doing a great deed for his country. And I love the showdown with…
I think it's disingenuous to compare the two. First, the Bond series has decades of films over "Bourne." Second, they have two completely different goals as film and their titular character. "Bourne" is rooted more in a heightened reality, where the organization is the villain and Bourne can beat up guys with…
I mean, in the end it's your fault for seeing a movie that uses shaky cam when you're hungover. And I don't remember any of the BWAAMP stuff. This was pre-"Inception."
I don't think this one diminishes the series, in the same sense that as awful as "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" doesn't hurt "Indiana Jones." The trilogy had its third movie reach the character's story's natural end where it felt like the closing of a book. Anything else after that is extemporaneous.
That's what I was wondering - was she even going for an American accent? Like many things with this movie, it was not clearly defined.
I gotta admit, though. They always perfectly cast the right elder statesmen actor to be the slimy leader: Chris Cooper, Brian Cox, Albert Finney and Tommy Lee Jones.
Also, Bourne isn't really prepared at all to take down the bad guys in this one. At that tech expo, he's literally grabbing incidental items that just happen to be totally useful on his journey (Free trackers! A device that can record you from 50 feet away that surprisignly isn't attached to any security device!)
That last scene was real stupid too. We didn't need another "Oh, Bourne. You outsmarted those government dimwits again!" scene.
Ah yes. That's correct. I forgot of the "Movies That Rock!" along with "Fresh Prince" re-runs.
VH-1 actually shows even less videos than MTV. MTV will at least dedicate a few hours to people on meth benders at 3 a.m. VH-1 is now basically "Love and Hip-Hop" re-runs channel.
At this point, I'll take the occasional Jon Stewart rant every six months or so. Seeing a glorious speech like this is great, but lest we forget the last two or three years where he looked pretty resigned from everything and just tired of playing the political version of Sisyphus.
The short is way, way better.
You won't last one day in THE DEATH CURE!
Welcome the alt right. It's fucking awful.
Not to go too far into the weeds, but the Sonia situation (which went way too far by the commenters) was a mixture of things. At some point, she stopped reviewing the show she was watching ("The Leftovers") and turned the critique into a tirade about white men.
The only time they remove stuff that I report (and as a mod on a Facebook page, I get it on a fairly regular basis), is when they use something harsh like a hard N or F. But pictures, memes, coded racism/sexism - all fair game!
Milo Y. is cancer to humanity.
This description made me really laugh out loud.
I often will spend my drives thinking of a good Spoonman burn and I'm always at a loss. The submissions never fail to top themselves.
