I believe that's from an "SNL" sketch.
I believe that's from an "SNL" sketch.
Shit.
Nah. I'd say there's also that "Greenberg"/"Permanent Midnight" side to him that he likes to explore once in awhile.
Funny enough, Apatow and Stiller pitched "Cable Guy" to him right after he did the rhino scene.
I believe he's gone on to say how worn out he was from it, basically feeling like he was going to die.
Maybe they weren't there either! SpOoOoOoOoOkY!
Yes, that truly was one of ILC's best sketches and proved what a physical comic force Carrey was.
It's the fava beans line. It's great.
"They call this drink an Old Spanish. That's not really a drink, is it?"
I can confirm the theater experience added a whole lot to it. It was one of the first movie where I felt like THX sound was well utilized at putting you in the moment instead of just blasting your eardrums.
In other words. you're a Steve Oedekerk fan.
The only truly funny part was them taking the Shaggin' Wagon out and the cheesy '90s rock riff playing, they do the big car jump from the first movie and the whole car falls apart. That was some nice misdirection that was completely absent from the rest of the film.
That sounds about right.
You mean to tell me Bryan Adams didn't sing "Life Is A Highway" and my remix of "Nookie" wasn't actually Limp Bizkit, Orgy, Korn, Robert Plant, Ozzy Osbourne and Method Man all in the same studio for one night only!?
"Do you mean to tell me 'Moral Orel' wasn't a good idea to watch on a date!!??" - DarkWingDude, I assume
That's true.
Yes, that too!
I think he did. He was really funny on "SNL" a few years ago and was pretty funny in "Moonrise Kingdom." I think he was humbled and lightened up.
Oh, trust me. They still do. I watched it with a group of friends, all of which tout it as a great time, which it is if you're half in the bag.
It's great. Apatow is a solid interviewer and the answers he gets from all of these different comedians, mainly because they have a good rapport and are comfortable being vulnerable in front of him, is fantastic. Especially the Garry Shandling stuff.
