Adding to @Scrawler2:disqus 's point, another factor is the much more limited amount of screen time available for any one character on GoT. The three protagonists of those other shows are on screen the majority of every episode. (And in the case of Tony Soprano, we got to hear a nice monologue from him almost every

I thought it was one of those series crossover deals.

Buy It Now!

It was known. At least, by her.

No, it's Loth. As in, Queen, the Demonweb Pits, of.

I'll bet she realizes the last one is precious, and saves it for Joffrey. That would be sweet, sweet revenge.

Then again, Ned wasn't exactly an expert in such matters.

"I've seen you cry." - Sansa

The kick was to pop the braids loose. Sometimes, it's just that last little bit hanging on.

I'd put Arya in the top 10 next time there's an open spot. Three books of material from now, she'll be the "of course, I should have seen that coming the whole time" choice.

Yeah, I never saw Caesar's death coming. Who could have guessed?

Yes, and then he stayed around to gloat about it and give Arya a little thumbs up sign. (Or was it a one down, two to go sign? I forget.) Either way, that's pretty ballsy and slick for a conscript in a military fort.

"I've been coming here for years without problems because, well, I'm not a bad guy, and I've received enough validation of that to not really care if some asshats here think otherwise. "
This is an excellent Joffrey impression.

And… a resurrected zombified horse lord, a frozen reanimated zombie corpse, a girl who can't be burned, a boy who travels as a wolf in his dreams, and a talking snake. OK, scratch that last one.

Damn. I was hoping this would be a 200-comment thread on the biological parameters and likelihood of dragons.

@avclub-82cf46948ca0f531a256e38473c9282f:disqus I think that's it. Based on the exchange with Littlefinger, now I'm expecting Sansa to get killed or traded back to the Starks and Margarey steps in to teach Joffrey a few things about ruling.

Stone-melting dragon fire you can believe in.

Really good points, Arex. I'm even starting to think that the whole suggestion that the dragons will grow up and finish the Game is a bit of misdirection; it's almost too easy and rote to the genre. In the last two episodes we've been unexpectedly introduced to the Smoke Monster assassin and Tyrion's napalm stash —

Why should we hate him? Just because he's opposed to the Starks?

We just need Joffrey to step out on that little bridge again…
