There's nothing wrong with competition, and playing at a high level. What *is* wrong is to attach commercialization to it when the people involved receive nothing. What is deplorable is to push kids to do things that manifestly unhealthy.

It happened because the cargo load was improperly secured, which made everything slide back to the rear of the air-freighter, which in turn pushed the tail down and the nose up. That led to a stall and the crash.
