I'll say Anyone who lets a misstep in an artist's catalog ruin the entire catalog for them. I used to be super guilty of this, starting with the Star Wars prequels. But as I get older, I've come to learn that you can still love the things you love. The Matrix sequels don't match up to the original, but I'm not going

Someone should go to the Boo Box for this.

So you're saying they're both terrible movies, right? Because that could only be what you're saying. Jurassic Park 3 has a talking animatronic dinosaur.

So the rumor goes, the big San Diego rampage at the end of the film was meant for the third Jurassic Park, but Spielberg was champing at the bit to film such a sequence, hence its shoehorned-in nature.

Or that boring-ass scene where Quint is talking about dudes getting eaten by sharks? Let's see some dudes getting eaten by sharks already!

Same here. Sadly, it's a lonely passion for me. I don't know if they ever did an AVClub Q&A about this, but I consider Zappa to be one of those things I love that I just never can explain to anyone and wouldn't dream of convincing anyone else to like; I'd never recommend a Zappa album unless someone specifically came

I'll agree, I have less enthusiasm for the show, but I still love them both. CBB the podcast I listen to every Monday morning, first thing, whereas CBB the tv show I'll binge watch when it reaches Netflix.

Pretty much any episode where my roommate walked in and made me try to explain what was going was the worst episode.

This week on LOST mysteries are revealed! Like four or five of them!

Why are we not having a conversation about the Tiny Hamster Eating Tiny Pizza?!? It's like the Deep Impact to Tiny Burritos' Armageddon, but it's tiny pizza nonetheless!

Is that…is that an Underarmor Peacoat?

It's pretty tacky.

I think he did.

Who serves pizza in a trencher of bread?!?

(this is as someone who loves D&D) I think there's a certain lack of self-consciousness that one has to display in actually speaking out the actions of a character, in the mindset of the character, whereas video games present themselves as familiar movie blockbusters and tropes where you have slightly more control.

I'm always on the lookout for Mrs. Malcolm X.

Ugh I'm tired of these racial-subtext-laden fantasies in which perfect White saviors deliver agency and empowerment to helpless brown peasants via pizza.

That movie's great. It got good reviews, make $98 mil on a $28 mil budget, but would it count as underrated? Sure, it's not really talked about these days, or at least hasn't had much staying power or "classic" status, but it was a success, and I don't know anyone who says it's bad. I'd chalk it up as "forgotten," or

You mean he has a certain intangible quality that makes him somewhat similar to…every…man?

Oh god, not another Stuart Little 2 argument thread.
