Calling it a ploy has somewhat of a negative connotation. They're pretty open about its intent, which is precisely to give readers exposure to a bunch of series and hopefully hook them on a few.
I didn't have a problem with what was revealed so far, but we'll see how it goes.
What's Pamazon? Just a typo?
I hadn't realized that Scott was only slated for 6 WW issues and then she's back on Black Magick. Sucks for WW readers, but good news for Black Magick fans!
Congratulations!
Hadn't heard that, but I just saw it on Amazon. Pretty cool!
I seem to recall that there's a in-world retconned explanation for the boob window. I've never read PG, though.
Black #1 was really good. It was a bit short on character development, but it works well as an introduction to the setting. It moved fast and I liked that it didn't spend four or five issues setting up the premise. The black and white art is really cool and draws you in right away.
Shipwreck #1 - Weird, mysterious, and utterly compelling. Loved it. The Lynch comparison is right on
"All the kids in Springfield are SOBs"
He can do what he likes
That's why Alec Baldwin hasn't run
"Damn mic never works when you need it"
I was still kind of hoping there'd be a Danny Rand cameo in Luke Cage, so I'm a little disappointed to hear they just met.
Those actors look nothing like Jacqueline Bisset, Rob Lowe, or Andrew McCarthy.
I hate when they call these nutbars 'ancient astronaut theorists' or 'hollow earth theorists'. Just because they use the word theory in its most casual, non-scientific form doesn't make these weirdos 'theorists'.
This is basically the 'LOL JK' internet troll defense. His supporters will love it.
Until I found out they made a movie of it, I assumed the novel was a quickie self-published similar-named mockbuster written in the hopes of getting some accidental purchases.
It was an alright episode if measuring on a curve, but Phil's behavior towards Haley and her marketing techniques was out of character. He's never been averse to trying something new.
