Soule's She-Hulk was one of my first exposures to superhero comics and what made me realize their narrative potential. I love the character and I welcome different approaches to telling her story, but I have my doubts about this new series. I'll for sure give it a go, but we'll see how it works out.

Last week's Mockingbird #7 was super fun. I was laughing and grinning throughout.

Amadeus will be in Champions, but I don't know if his own title will continue after October.

I agree, I wouldn't read much into it. If the trend continues for a while, that means those large orders are translating into retail sales, but for now it's just a particularity of the business model.

Just this week, my LCS told me that Marguerite Bennett's Animosity #1 from AfterShock sold out its first, second, and third reprints.. I was bummedthat I couldn't find it, but happy for Bennett and AfterShock. Granted, the print runs are probably small, but still, it's great that a new publisher is knocking it out of

Before May 2016, the top 10 was dominated by Marvel and Marvel SW.

I'd never heard of the web series and didn't even know about the show until I stumbled upon it today, but I thought it was very well written and acted. Both funny and sad.

Missed opportunity for a comeback: "Yeah, I'm a weather girl. The forecast calls for 100% chance of salt"

I spit in your general direction!

Lee/Ditko Spidey. I'm up to #23. Ditko's art changed a lot from the beginning of the series until now. If you'd ask me what I think of him after reading Amazing Fantasy #15, I'd say he's just ok. Now - holy shit! The stories have also improved. I like that regardless of powers the villains are basically street

Interesting that Ghosts is published and distributed by Scholastic. I don't know much about business, but I would think the Big 2 would be scrambling to partner up with them. Sooner or later, old people are going to die and the comics industry will need somebody to carry their load.

It reminds me of the cover of an album I like

Geez, you guys are so rigid. Not me, I don't have a predetermined strategy or formula. I'm a free spirit who makes choices on a whim.

He admitted but did not apologize. Then he blamed Clinton and praised his previous attacks as necessary to clear up the ugliness. So, of course his supporters will say he was right all along.

I first saw it in an indie/arthouse theater when it was released. It was really strange to see this theater completely packed with loud, overly excited, probably drunk moviegoers

I've enjoyed this series and I hope Marvel will continue with this anthology format after CWII is over. I don't think the book needs a central theme for the stories to work. What's important is to get some exposure for various emerging creative teams.

I haven't read many Punisher comics, but I think he works best as a protagonist of a 60's/70's men's adventure novels like The Destroyer or The Executioner.

I was pretty surprised to find out that Webb, who from what I've read seemed to be similar to his character, was a big jazz aficionado and was married to Julie London.

Vote Loki

I haven't read it. I actually do like Ferrier's humor, but I keep hoping he improves his plotting.
