I haven't read the first series, but I liked about half of D4VE 2. The humor worked for me and the setting was fun and colorful. However, the plot fizzled by the end, and I ended up not caring about the outcome.
Did you read Kennel Block Blues?
The Night Witches also played a major role in Ennis' 'Johnny Red'.
Moon Knight #6 - Excellent. Lemire is building on the weird, creative, and exciting foundation of the first arc and taking it to another level. I loved the guest artists and especially the color choices for the panels featuring Jake.

I agree. I don't think that's the worse way to respond, but it's something a decent, empathetic person should strive to overcome.
I think you may be right. I might just trade-wait the rest of it.
RIP Prince Buster
Well, that's a relief
I understand why it would bother you in this context, but some of us regularly refer to any subject of discussion we don't personally know by their last name. For my part, there's no conscious or intentional judgmental connotation.
I'm enjoying the series, but it has some serious pacing issues. I used to think Simek was the Gary/Larry/Jerry of the…

Not only is the writing and art great, but the whole design of the book down to the choice of paper is just gorgeous.
When I was a kid, I liked those Merry Melodies cartoons with caricatures or parodies of celebrities from that time. I had no idea who any of those people were. I still don't know half of them, and they're still funny.
I finished the Kirby/Lee Fantastic Four run, not including the annuals, A few comments
