I read the first five issues or so. I liked them alright and may get more. The only thing I didn't like was at times the show references felt a bit forced

That's disappointing. I haven't read it, but I like Beukes' novels.
Punisher/Squirrel Girl team-up. Make it happen, Netflix.
Just this month, the Beckettian existentialism of The Vision #6 choked me up.
I don't quite understand the logic behind creating a new Vertigo-like imprint instead of fixing Vertigo. Is it a matter of cost?
I just sort of assumed the ANAD Ultimates was just an Avengers type series like its Ultimate Universe namesake. This actually sounds pretty cool. My hesitancy is that I wasn't nuts about Ewing's writing in The New Avengers. Granted, I only read the Standoff tie-ins.
Yeah, he did do that a lot in one manner or another. In this respect, his exploration of recurring themes in different guises, reminds me of PK Dick's work.

It was a really good series, and Robinson's sad,…
Other than Gillen's Vader and a couple of issues of Lando, I haven't paid attention to the SW stuff. However, I get they're basically Marvel's cash cow and they're not about to experiment too much with them.
It's just going to be a massive big bugdet paint ball fight…and it's going to be glorious.
Civil War? Any day now. Right when Obummer comes for our guns.
