In addition to this, my dad comments here! Or at least he used to. I think he's peeved they took away the Cheers reviews.

I feel like I should know why they all have eyepatches! I've read and watched so much about them, but I guess it didn't come up in Bogdanovich's interviews with Ford…
I've got a date on Wednesday as well! High five!
I saw Ashlee Simpson as Roxy in London, because I love Chicago and have seen it in three different cities now. She was an okay singer, a worse actress but a pretty fantastic dancer. The woman playing Velma was an absolute revelation though, the best I've seen.
My mom wrote a fantastic essay on Mulholland Dr. She was an editor before she went into the glamorous world of library sciences (and is now some kind of a government bureaucrat, I don't even know), but I was kinda surprised she wrote it because she hadn't done any writing for years. I asked her why she wrote it and…
This is an incredibly stupid question, but did it have to do with…looking into a camera, I guess?
This is getting to be a very bizarre schtick. But I kind of like it.
George Meyer basically co-ran those seasons, which doesn't come up very often because people adore Meyer. Some of the craziest running gags Meyer came up with (the pennant and chloroform gags).
Police Squad! remake, perhaps?
That would be a little awkward, though. I certainly don't begrudge anyone with terminal cancer, so it'd just make me think "How awful that this person I don't enjoy is dying from a horrible disease"
I don't care that Mozart wrote a symphony by 8, but I do care that Sam Simon ran Taxi at 24. Goddamn, that's exceptional.
I saw "Endless Slumper" mentioned and instantly ran to Netflix to cue it up. Such a beautiful, perfect episode and one of Simon's crowning achievements.
I went to my graduation with my ex-girlfriend who I had since come out to. At grad, she revealed to me that she wasn't graduating because she was expelled for selling cocaine.
I love Rhye so much, "Woman" is a terrific album. That voice is absolutely amazing.
I always thought "Mackenzie King's Dead Terriers" would be a good name for a band. I used it for the name of an orchestral piece I wrote last year.
I don't really care if a Paul Thomas Anderson movie gets a (gasp) B+.
I'm so excited this has been getting good reviews! Can't wait till it comes to Toronto.
Sweet and Lowdown is a really sweet movie, I enjoyed it a lot.
@avclub-93bf0903fd207bdfd856ede8e84f7d1f:disqus , that's really unfortunate. My dad's always super generous with his booze when I'm town - "Your mother's best friend gave us this 250 dollar bottle of Scotch when her son got married, let's have a glass!"
I'd like to see Small Time Crooks here. It's totally inconsequential, but man it's a lot of fun (though maybe after Hollywood Ending and this they're gonna go for something different, like Deconstructing Harry, Celebrity or Sweet and Lowdown)
