I'd just like to chime in that I really enjoyed Michael Tuesday and Thursdays, from the same crew as Slings (plus Don McKellar!). It was a shame it got cancelled, it was probably the best thing CBC had put on in years.

What's pretentious about Slings and Arrows? Maybe it's slow moving at times, but I don't really see it as a show that wallows in pretensions at all.

When Bujold is committed, she's a great actress. But recently I've seen her pop up in a couple assorted Canadian movies and she phones it in terribly. Just awful.

Does "Basically MST3K" mean Rifftrax and Cinematic Titanic? Because those are neat.
