Princess Mononoke is probably the earlier film I remember adoring that I still love. Saw it when I was eight or nine, the violence was a little disturbing but ultimately worth it.

It was that wholly unnecessary Prime Suspect reboot. It was pretty lame.

Canada has some of the worst drunk driving stats worldwide, too! Maybe people get too drunk after enjoying a film by one of our many internationally respected filmmakers, I'm not sure.

Benjamin Britten's Billy Budd (holy alliteration!) opera is absolutely fantastic, one of the best 20th century operas. 

It's the best looking show on network television, and it's like that from the very start. The writing/character dynamics take a couple episodes to build, but they get there and it's fantastic.

MUBI is a fantastic site for film analysis though. But…yes, that's an awful name.

It's Jill "I Have an Identical Twin" Hennessy, who I was so excited to see on Luck.

If we're completely fucking around with timelines, I'd want Ben Stone as ADA and McCoy as DA. Because wouldn't it be fun to see them sparring?
