I was teaching a seven year old piano the other day (I phrased this about six times and it sounds vaguely creepy every way), and she made a comment about how she had nicer handwriting than me. I should get one of those books that help small children write better.

Naked Lunch is one of my favorite adaptations, almost everything in the film works really well. Also: the soundtrack is fantastic. 

I really liked the Hannibal pilot, hopefully they'll be able to go a few seasons with it. And hopefully it won't hilariously go off the rails like some other promising network dramas lately (Smash, Nashville and to a lesser degree REVENGE!!!!)

This was the first year I even vaguely followed college basketball (not really a huge deal in Canada), and I loved it. It's fascinating to see the difference between how college teams and professional teams play.

On my rewatch, I'm almost done Season 3, and it's starting to wear on me so heavily that I'm finding it hard to continue. I forgot how much dread this show inspires.
