IT'S THE PATRIARCHY

The A.V. Club
This was fantastic and youre all idiots

Do you have any idea how offensive this is not just to me, but to Brazilians in general? Seriously, get a clue before you go around being a stereotype-perpetuating smartass.

Sorry, that wasn't really meant towards you, I get your position. I was mostly addressing the whole board.

Her PhD is from UCLA.

So the show is not a nerd show, but the cast disrespects nerd culture by not showing up at SDCC, even though SDCC is not really a nerd event?

Poor guy, he looks like the only person in that cast who's consistently trying.

It means nobody is sure of its existence. I mean, what else is Delaware famous for?

What kind of person spends five minutes thinking about a Buzzfeed listicle?

Are you sure she was from Ecuador? 'Cause that one's pretty much the Delaware of South America.

I'm tempted to agree with you, but I actually have something of a soft spot for Simon Helberg. I mean, the guy was in A Serious Man. Also, Mayim Bialik looks like she's the only person involved in that show's production who might actually make some kind of difference in the world one day.

Ugh.

Try living in Brazil. EVERYONE in this f***ing country thinks The Big Bang Theory is the pinnacle of nerd culture, even some actual nerds.

Okay.

Look, that's all very nice and all, but if you're going to complain about a mediocre actress getting undeservingly nominated two years in a row for a soap opera, Michelle Dockery is a more agreeable target.

I'm still appalled that the Total Drama series keeps getting snubbed for Best Reality Competition Program.

Sorry, I didn't use Ctrl+F

Well, that didn't really help Hugh Laurie win for House (he was not even nominated, in fact) so I'm not sure it's gonna help Hamm. Of course, Mad Men is Mad Men and House is House, but still.

That's not even necessary, Ctrl+F exists for a reason
