Yup, my thoughts, too - "Hey, the old-school early 80s spaceman! I have that guy!" The fact that his helmet is cracked tells me that there is some love behind this film, and that it's not just a 90 minute Lego commercial.

I'm hoping that Fox does what it should have done after Seasons 2 or 3 of 24 (I lost count after the season where Jack's daughter was stuck in the cabin with Johnny Drama and the cougar) - check in with Jack every few years, with a new mini-series adventure.
Really? He was showing douche-like tendencies as far back as Project Greenlight …
If you were the inventor of Lexcorp, you would have invented Lexcorp!
You know this!
She is downright luminous on Veep. And hilarious, too. Can't wait until she gets into her late 80s!
His interview with Jerry on Comedians in Cars … was terrific. Richards and Seinfeld talked about the incident, and the aftermath, and the future … honest, funny, bittersweet stuff.
I kinda hate-listen at this point … after a childhood of Mike and the Maddog memories, I keep holding out hope that his show will one day become enjoyable again … and he's often followed by Steve Somers, who is a national treasure.
As a life long WFAN devotee, and a film fan, and a Patton Oswalt fan, and a Giants fan … this film really hit the sweet spot for me. It was so smart to create Oswalt's character not as a sitcom character, or as a walking joke for the audience to smugly laugh at, but as a real guy who is somewhat happy with his life,…
Wait, Turtle finally got his own place? Jeez, turning 40 really made those guys grow up, I guess …
I think he had to fool himself into thinking those policies were best … very interesting story in Esquire from a few years back detailed the almost Faustian bargain Romney seemed to make to get the GOP nom. He basically turned his back on a lot of his beliefs to appease the right-wing lunatics in his party.
I always link them and The Strokes together - while each band has a very different aesthetic, they both emerged roughly at the same time (early 2000s) from the same place (NYC). Similarly, their first two albums are terrific, and everything else is mediocre to just plain bad.
Oh, man, I remember that … that became a whole separate comment conversation/support group, if I remember correctly …
Were the jokes worth wading thru all of these comments, at least?
387 comments, and nothing said about the Wu Wear?
"Yeah, well, listen. You ought to ditch the two geeks you're in the car with now [points to Starz and Encore] and get in with us. But that's alright, we'll worry about that later."
I think the NBC Sunday Night Crew is terrific, as is their studio show.
Yes, hopefully harlin returns to his "visual sense" auteur days of Die Hard 2 and Nightmare on Elm Street 4 …
Haven't listened to these guys in a while, but Vegas and Tweekend hold up well, in my opinion.
Jesus, if he accidentally got back to regular size too soon … what a mess …
