Yeah - I've read about this now on three websites, and I still have no idea what the fuck this is. Is it a store? A website?

I'd agree that that era, along with 1991 - 1994, were the two sweet spots of the type of music I like.

Love'em all … but man, none really seemed it in for the long haul, except The National (and Jack White, solo). Of them all, I thought Interpol would be our Important Band for a long time. They had a sound, an image, an aesthetic … they're last album, the self-titled one, was okay; the third album is horrible.

No love for C'mere? That is my absolute favorite Interpol song.

I've always hoped that Patton Oswalt is as decent a guy as I think he is, and from this interview, I think I'm correct. There's little I loathe more than when certain comedians (say, David Cross) perform in films or TV shows that may not be high art exactly, and then shit all over the project every chance they get.

From what I've read and documentaries I've seen about the world of stand-up … do any of these guys seem like they're a good time offstage? It seems that comedians are only really "friends" with other comedians.

Nice bait n' switch with the Jennifer Lawrence picture at the head of this. I was wondering what crazy-ass religion or political bent had I not known about her …

Hey, I've always thought that the original Wizard of Oz, and the Baum books all lacked the smug glibness and ironic jokeyness that this film seems packed with. This looks awesome!

You could see Pearl Jam 100 times, and get 100 different set lists. I know they're not so "cool" around these parts anymore, but I think that they are, and have been, one of the best American live bands around.

The murder would invalidate Otto's testimony, I guess, because it would put away all doubt that he is psycho … I guess blinding a guy in the library hadn't sufficiently convinced everyone in the California legal system yet.

Am I crazy, or is it possible that Jax wants the proof to hand it all over to Roosevelt? Is he actually looking to put Clay away in prison?
