Yeah, I wrote this above (before I read this!). It seems that so many of the Deadwood cast have shown up on AMC or FX. It'd be great to see Hawkes and Olyphant together again.

Wait, what? I think you're mistaken, my friend. Caleb Carr is alive, as far as I know. Angel of Death was the sequel to The Alienist, and seemed to be pretty much a rehash of the much of the plot of The Alienist.
