Maybe it's because I never particularly liked Robin from the original series why I have no problem with him now.

He was always an ass in the original for me too actually.

I actually prefer this to the shorts animation actually

Really now. Every single episode this season deserves an F. This isnt a monumental exaggeration that makes it difficult for me to take simpsons criticism seriously at all.

@avclub-ffc3460c431f41282064dc7acdd70797:disqus, the modern episodes should be judged based on themselves and whether they are entertaining themselves and it stinks to see good episodes get the half assed treatment because reviewers and watchers have long since given up on trying to enjoy the show.

I find the "anyone who likes the simpsons truly cant like what it is now" argument to be ludicrous.

" Like many episodes of "Family Guy" which deal with the Peter-Lois relationship, "Total Recall" highlighted an interesting point about marriage. Peter ended up in the hospital in his boorish attempt to please Lois (and himself) and while not equitable, Lois sacrificed her burgeoning friendship with her neighbors."

"The show isnt that great" is implying something completely different from "I dont like this show."

The "art" may be meh (to you) but there isnt much breathing room to say the actual animation is bad. It's incredibly fluid and the characters respond to each other and move in a very realistic way. While American Dad indeed has lovely art, it's still one of those shows where often, the only thing on screen moving is

I think Big Bang Theory gets a disproportionate amount of hate because it's really popular and the people who dislike it just cant see why

@avclub-d980b15d49101608dc407770f35b1d75:disqus they were generally great but over time became less common as advertisers wanted to target white people and shows ended up being about the target audience of advertisers.

I actually think the reveal made Paul more interesting, while I'm hoping Vic to go because he seems to be bringing in unnecessary complications.

The B-plot and cutaways made it worth it.

Peter ended up in the hospital because she stopped having sex with him and he wanted it to start back.

Coal Mine was just absolutely great.

I never thought I'd ever hear someone say Louise was the least interesting.

It surprised me when after abandoning one plot for another, the original plot came back into things near the end. It made the episode feel less like a couple of acts and more about things just happening all at once. Great.

AM I the only person who's kinda bummed Girl Group broke up?

It's sad to see that FG gives the other shows a bad rep.

So you're just saying you dont know how good it eventually became then.
