I dont really care about "unoriginal plots" because good shows take them to interesting places.

Eh, I thought the cleveland show was actually very good. Like American Dad it took a while to find it's footing, but I totally think he was the best choice. Your main character has to be an everyman for the wackier side characters to bounce off of.

He'd be a terrible choice man. Some characters are only good in small doses. How many Jimmy Neutron fans watch Planet Sheen?

That's perfectly logical. But some people just bring their criticism past the logical extreme.

And I'll be that one guy who says he loved the most recent season and is sad to see Family Guy continue to be more popular than the other two far better Seth shows.

@avclub-eea4aec80a343badf2cb4f3aea3f9bf0:disqus my bad, it's hard to tell sometimes.

I actually expected that to happen.

For some reason I actually loved Quagmire these past few episodes, if only because his jokes are the only jokes that really work for me now besides Stewie's.

Am I the only one that finds it strange that people are all for the show when a good episode comes out (like the previous one) and once a /slightly/ meh episode comes out everyone forgets the previous recent ones they liked.

and comments like that are why reading Simpsons review are often more annoying than entertaining. No-one's allowed to like the new episodes apparently.

Your rebuttal has swayed me man I totally undertsand why the show sucks now

Also Tina Belcher.

Many people do think that the best way to do something like this is "The show in your interpretation" rather than "trying to do it exactly like the actual writers"

I especially loved the inner voiceovers of Travis and Andy right before they talked was excellent

Definitely my favourite episode of Adventure Time.

The Job deserves to win because that was truly the most ambitious, animation wise. Underrated indeed.

That's exactly how it was supposed to look. I get you not liking it but I dont get you criticizing them for doing exactly what they wanted to do.

I like Will Smith but these comments are too hilarious

When people are calling you autistic for liking a show, it's not particularly farfetched you'd think you are being unecessarily targeted for hate.

I would like to thank most of the commenters for what has probably become the most hilarious AV Club comments thread to ever exist.
